A global energy company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sourcing Manager for IT Products. The role focuses on leading procurement strategies and ensuring compliance while managing a team of sourcing professionals. Procurement Source to Contract (S2C) is an integral part of how the BP business and functions operate. Procurement S2C supports delivery of BP business and functional strategies by driving efficiency, effectiveness. The Procurement S2C team is part of the sourcing pillar and drives the way in which BP approaches the market to source third party supply, balancing efficiency and value drivers in line with category strategy.
As a Line Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for BP's global sourcing activities within the Digital and talent (D&T) category across hydrocarbons, low carbon energy and retail businesses. You will be accountable for delivering value, leading risk, and driving perfection across sourcing and contracting processes. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, people leadership, and the ability to influence at senior levels across the organization.
You will manage a team of sourcing professionals, ensuring alignment with BP's business objectives and complete compliance with Category Management Policy (CMP) combined with local laws and regulations of respective bp operating regions; and to develop high performing team.
Negligible travel should be expected with this role
