Job description

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to achieve lowest total cost of ownership sourcing solutions for assigned commodities (e.g., Sheet Metal/ CNC Machining/ Cable/ Mechanical OTS).
• Experience in managing NPI Project Management (Project Management & Prioritization, Presentation, Problem Solving and Decision Making).
• Manage localization projects until FA passes and localized parts move to volume production.
• Support Business Units in resolving quality issues, generating material cost reductions, assisting in supplier delivery problems, and implementing supply chain strategies.
• Show Supplier Management skills (Supplier Evaluation Capability, Supplier Development). Negotiate supply side component contracts, purchase agreements, and tooling awards.
• Manage Supplier business reviews and work with Supplier Quality Engineering on qualifying new suppliers.
