About the Company

About the Job
  • Develop design proposals for grid‑connected solar PV systems across multiple sectors.
  • Produce technical drawings using CAD software, including PV layouts, single‑line diagrams, panel schedules, and connection schematics.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and installers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Provide design clarifications and modifications to support site engineers as needed.
  • Prepare tender documentation for consultant bids and compile technical submissions.
  • Coordinate with TNB, SEDA, and ST for regulatory submissions, applications, and approvals.
  • Conduct energy yield assessments and performance simulations of solar systems.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety codes.
  • Assist in preparing Bills of Materials (BOM) and supporting project proposal documentation.
  • Offer technical support to sales teams and clients on system feasibility and design aspects.
  • Stay informed on solar industry developments, new technologies, and best practices.
Skills / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, PVsyst or similar simulation software.
  • Strong understanding of grid‑connected PV systems and electrical design principles.
  • Familiar with local authority requirements (e.g., TNB, SEDA, ST).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
