Qualifications

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, and the successful candidate will be required to be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand requirements and user stories to identify required test scenarios, test cases, and test data that will ensure complete test coverage
• Able to analyze applications based on the current behavior of the application where documentation or feature requirements do not exist
• Execute quality assurance test scenarios/test cases. Ensure that the developed functionality satisfies the requirements and aligns with business specifications
• Find issues through systematic and/or ad hoc testing, troubleshooting. Provide detailed defect reports and effectively communicate status of issues and its risk in a precise and timely manner
• Able to work together with software developers to enhance the product and fix all reported issues
• Understand problems from customer’s perspective and able recommend improvements to enhance user experience
• Maintain product quality to avoid customer issues and enhance testing processes for better quality and efficiency.
• Thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process and industry standard defect tracking tools
• Able to work independently on projects / Ability to self-manage
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups and retrospective meeting

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC) and QA methodology
• Knowledge and experience in analyzing Software Requirement Specification and identifying the required test scenarios
• Good team player, passion for learning new technology, approaches and test tools
• Meticulous attention to details and strong desire to deliver quality software experience
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in software testing will be an advantage.
• Experience work with auto test framework – selenium, Knowledge of scripting language – Python will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields are welcome to apply
