Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a development team of team leads, system analysts, and software engineers to deliver the application as per the project schedule.
• Collaborate with business analysts to manage requirements.
• Assign tasks to team members and resolve issues.
• Assist team members and perform technical analysis when necessary to ensure on‑time delivery of a high‑quality product.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports; assist with legal paperwork such as contracts and terms of agreement if required.
• Coach, motivate, and engage team members to ensure work is performed in accordance with established software development policies, procedures, and standards.
• Identify areas of improvement for the team and strive to effect change.
• Demonstrate competence in project management throughout the software development life cycle.
• Anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

• At least a bachelor's, professional, or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunications), or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of working experience in the related field.
• Experience in software development life cycle, analysis, and system design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with project management and leadership skills.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and support others during ad‑hoc projects or tasks when required.
• Past experience managing multi‑million government projects.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Formal project management training or certification (PMP, Agile, etc.).
