Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at HHC Building Construction Sdn Bhd in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction site, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with safety regulations. This is a full-time permanent position.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and supervising the work of construction crews, including carpenters, masons, and labourers
• Ensuring that project timelines and budgets are met by monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed
• Identifying and addressing any safety or quality issues on the construction site
• Liaising with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is progressing as planned
• Providing guidance and support to the construction team, and ensuring that they have the necessary resources to complete their work effectively
• Maintaining accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any incidents or issues that arise

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
