Overview

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Site Supervisor role is a pivotal position within HTY Construction (M) Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Penor, Pahang (may relocation if the project is finished).

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
• Monitoring site safety, quality, productivity and compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
• Identifying and resolving issues or bottlenecks that could impact project timelines and budgets
• Maintaining detailed records and providing regular progress reports to the Site Manager
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
• Providing on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced members of the construction crew

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years\' experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreperson in the construction industry (Land housing project)
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
• Proven track record of leading and motivating construction teams to achieve project goals
• Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, safety standards and quality control processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
