Job description

To support the Operations and Maintenance Team and ensure that the Sewage Treatment Plant is in compliance at all times and all duty equipment is well maintained and operational at all times.

Contribute to the Company’s reputation by maintaining good working relationships with the Client’s Project Staff and Government Representatives ensuring the smooth running of the Contract and the development of future relationships.

Main Responsibilities

To supervise construction site according to construction drawing and engineer’s or client’s written instruction.

To follow any engineer’s or client’s written instruction from time to time during construction period.

Liaise with client’s representative and consultants from time to time at site.

To supervise and provide leadership for the execution of repairs to equipment.

To supervise and provide leadership for the execution of all preventative maintenance.

To supervise and provide leadership for the operation of the sewage treatment plant and ensure that effluent quality remains in specification.

To highlight and update progress report in writing to HQ office every week during Monday meeting.

To enhance working procedures on site.

To ensure compliance with all safety procedures.

To ensure materials are safe and enough for construction at site.

Ensure that works on site are completed on time and meet budgeted cost.

Ensure that works are done according to the specifications and meets deadline.

To provide a good example and supervise the operations and maintenance staff.

To report any problems and unusual circumstances or events to Superiors for action / decisions.

Supporting other ad hoc relevant tasks that may be assigned to you while on the job.

Skills and Knowledge requirements

Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, or other construction-related fields.

Minimum 3 years of hands‑on site supervision experience in building construction projects.

Certified Site Supervisor (CSS) with a valid Yellow Book, having passed the CSS examination conducted by CIDB, NIOSH or any DOSH-recognized institution.

Strong understanding of construction site safety practices, hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety compliance requirements.

Good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards (OSHA, FMA, CIDB, and other governing acts).

Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with workers, subcontractors, and management at all levels.

Willing to travel to project sites as required.

Assertive, responsible, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced site environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
