The Site Supervisor oversees daily renovation site operations and ensures projects are completed according to schedule, approved drawings, and quality standards. This role requires strong communication skills, discipline, responsibility, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with interior designers, contractors, suppliers, and the office team.
Required skills and qualifications
- Basic understanding of renovation workflow and construction sequencing.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings (training provided if needed).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good problem-solving ability to handle on-site issues.
- Responsible, disciplined, reliable, and good at time management.
- Previous site experience is an added advantage.
Key responsibilities
Project Coordination & Communication
- Communicate with interior designers and office teams to understand the project scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Prepare project schedules and understand the basic workflow of renovation processes.
- Liaise and communicate with contractors and suppliers to ensure work is carried out accurately.
- Provide weekly work schedules to the office.
- Update daily site progress to the office and client group chats.
Site Management & Quality Control
- Ensure contractors follow the approved drawings and specifications accurately.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship and ensure quality control.
- Identify site problems and provide problem-solving support to maintain smooth progress.
Progress Monitoring
- Ensure the project stays on schedule and report delays immediately.
- Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and material arrangements as needed.
Work Discipline & Independence
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain discipline, responsibility, and a professional attitude on site.
Transportation
- Must have own transportation to travel between project sites.
