Job summary

A leading construction firm in Malaysia is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to ensure safety compliance and maintain safety records at construction sites. The ideal candidate must have a Diploma/Certificate in Safety and be certified as a Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book). Responsibilities include conducting safety meetings, liaising with authorized departments, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in safety supervision.
• Familiar with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
• Compliance with OSH legislations required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HIRARC and Toolbox Meeting.
• Keep and register safety records.
• Plan and install safety signage at the site.
• Conduct safety induction and communicate ESH procedures.
• Inspect sub-contractors’ works for compliance.
• Liaise with different authorized departments.
• Assist in scheduling waste collection and disposal.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR (Must Have Yellow Book)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct HIRARC and Toolbox Meeting
• Keep and register safety records
• Plan and install safety signage at site
• Conduct safety induction and communicate ESH procedure to sub-contractors and visitors at site
• Inspect sub-contractors’ works to ensure compliance with the established act and regulations
• Liaise with JKKP/DOSH and authorized department ie. Bomba, KKM, CIDB and etc
• Assist in scheduling waste collection and waste disposal
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities delegated by Project Manager / Site Manager time to time
