Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Uni-Vessel Engineering (B'worth) Sdn Bhd as a casual Site Safety Supervisor. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental practices across the company's construction projects within Peninsular Malaysia.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards
• Monitoring and enforcing compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Providing comprehensive safety training and guidance to site personnel
• Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents to identify root causes and preventive measures
• Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective safety protocols
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
• Promoting a proactive safety culture across the organisation

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar role within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to the construction sector
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with site personnel at all levels
• Proven ability to identify and mitigate safety risks in a dynamic work environment
• Proficient in accident investigation, root cause analysis and report writing
• A relevant health and safety qualification, as a Competent Person registered under DOSH
