Job summary

A leading construction and engineering firm in Johor is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee all health, safety, and environmental aspects of construction projects. You will develop and monitor safety policies, conduct inspections, and provide training to ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will be a certified safety officer with a diploma in Engineering and possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. This role requires relocation to Simpang Renggam and own transport is necessary.

• At least 2-5 years of experience in occupational safety and health.
• Must possess own transport and be willing to relocate.

Job description

This is a full‑time Site Safety Supervisor role at MAJU JAYA PASARANA SDN BHD', located in Simpang Renggam Johor. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) aspects of construction projects, ensuring the well‑being of workers and compliance with industry regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Develop, implement, and monitor HS&E policies, procedures, and protocols on construction sites
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Provide training and guidance to workers on safe work practices, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and emergency response procedures
• Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near‑misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant HS&E regulations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HS&E performance and initiatives
• Continuously review and improve HS&E systems to enhance the overall safety culture on site

What we're looking for
