Job summary

A construction company in Johor Bahru is seeking a Project Manager to oversee infra projects. Responsibilities include managing drawings, preparing reports, and monitoring work progress on site. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has at least 3 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Project is an advantage. This position offers a chance to coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure project goals are met within specified time and cost constraints.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and sort drawings based on project requirements.

Job description

Receive drawings, check and sort drawings according to specific infra project.

Prepare management report, and update infra project progress report.

Assist Project Manager to monitor site schedule, work progress and work quality on site accordance with specification and ensure its completion within the targeted time frame and cost.

Identify, receive and solve technical problems at site regarding on infra matters.

Attend meeting, site visit with authority i.e DOSH, DOE, CIDB etc.

Attend meeting related to the project and liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers on all related aspects of construction activities and to resolve construction problems.

Liaise with in charge person at HQ for submission and documentation of infra project.

Coordinate with client, consultant and sub-contractor on project matters. Monitor sub-contractor works at site. Do inspection for structure and architecture with client’s Clerk of Work.

Establishing and controlling of all construction issues and ensuring all technical and engineering aspect of the project meet client’s requirements.

Support and report site progress, issues etc. to site management / Project Manager.

Handling paper works and maintaining good administrative record in accordance to company ISO QMS.

Any assignment as deemed fit and necessary by the Management.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

At least Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent.

At least 3 years working experience in similar position or related field.

Experience in infra project will be added advantage.

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Project will be added advantage.
