Shop Assistant (Pawnshop at KOTA BAHRU, KELANTAN)
- Provide professional and courteous service to all customers.
- Handle customer feedback, in the most appropriate manner, within operational guidelines.
- Greet and interact with all customers to determine their individual needs when they enter the store.
- Answers incoming calls as per operations standard.
- Inspecting items and assessing the value of items brought in by customers.
2. Perform Pawn and Trade-in Transactions
- Effectively communicates to customers on policy of the pawn and trade-in transactions.
- Perform pawn renewal and trade-in transactions.
- Handle all cash, bank transactions, voucher, and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices.
- Proactively utilize customer service skills to achieve or exceed KPIs.
- Housekeeping of the store.
- Assist in maintaining outstanding store appearance.
- Labelling items, arranging merchandise displays, and ensuring that items are stored securely.
4. Administration/ Other assignment
- Assist in stock handling, stock-take and documentation.
- Assist in cleanliness and upkeep of the pawnshop.
- Assist with simple ordering for the store – stationery and pantry supplies.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- At least SPM qualification.
- Given the nature of luxury retail, presenting a neat and professional appearance is important.
- No experiences are required; training will be provided.
- Must be able to work at weekends (Saturday & Sunday), off rest days at weekdays.
