JTS ENGINEERING SDN. BHD.' is seeking a Shipping Assistant to join our team in Pasir Gudang Johor. This is a full-time role that will be responsible for supporting our Import/Export & Customs operations within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

• Responsible for shipment and delivery arrangements
• Prepare full set of export and import documentation
• Manage the entire shipping process from origin country to destination warehouse
• Propose innovative ideas to improve service efficiency and reduce costs through process or technology improvements
• Follow up on shipping documentation, freight payment control, and audit processes
• Ensure all shipping documents, procedures, and controls are properly updated and compliant
• Respond promptly to customer requirements related to shipment arrangements and ensure customer expectations are met
• Handle documentation related to Kastam Malaysia
• Perform any other shipping or logistics-related tasks assigned by the supervisor

What we're looking for

• 1–2 years of working experience in shipping, logistics, or related fields
• Experience in handling Customs Malaysia documentation is required
• Strong understanding of import/export procedures and freight processes
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple shipments efficiently
