Job summary

A leading company in the beverage industry is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end operations in their logistics department. This position requires a strong leader with extensive experience in warehouse management, who can drive efficiency and ensure compliance with safety standards while managing a diverse team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a proven track record of improving warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• More than 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in TPM is an advantage.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storing, inventory control, and dispatch.
• Monitoring and reporting on key warehouse performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency, optimize productivity, and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, lean warehousing, and automation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics processes with other business functions
• Enforce high safety standards to maintain a healthy and legally compliant work environment
• Supervising and coordinating the work of warehouse staff, including warehousecontractors
• Oversee the training and development of the logistics team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field
• More than 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS),inventory control systems, SAP tools and systems, like SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA will be adding advantages
• Knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation (if applicable)
• Must be able to work in shift and willingness to work flexible hours/weekends during peak seasons
• Experience and knowledge of TPM would be an advantage
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
