Company background

Our well‑established client is an industrial equipment, flow control solution service provider. They are looking for a dynamic and result‑oriented candidate to fill their current job opening of Service Technician, to be based in Kempas, Johor.

Job responsibilities

• Extensive hands‑on experience in mechanical related equipment such as valves, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
• Well versed in maintenance, troubleshooting, assessment, and repair work with the above‑mentioned equipment.
• Able to work independently to perform overhaul (including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly) of mechanical related equipment at workshop and field site.
• Ensure work done and spare parts used are in compliance with manufacturers or industrial specifications.
• Perform quality inspection on serviced equipment before handing over to customer.
• Timely update of maintenance checklist and records.
• Attend all specified OEM, skill enhancement and safety courses assigned by Manager.
• Any other work assigned by Manager.

Job requirements

• Diploma / Adv. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge and experience in mechanical related equipment (static and rotating).
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools.
• Basic skill in MS Office.
• Safety and quality‑oriented mindset.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast‑pace and challenging environment.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Kempas, Johor.
