Job Responsibilities
- Plan and check service schedules via in-house system.
- Manage and train service staff to improve service quality.
- Ensure team members provide quality and timely services as scheduled.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks on completed services, dedicating 20% of supervision time to this.
- Perform quarterly field attachments with team members.
- Prepare and present weekly reviews of team members.
- Maintain accurate records of all service vehicles, including renewal of road tax, maintenance, repairs, fuel usage, and driver logs.
- Manage and control the branch's fleet cost-effectively, ensuring safety.
- Complete all new business within 10 working days from service agreement confirmation.
- Route ride each service team once every two months.
Stock Management
- Present monthly service capital expenditure requests to the Branch Manager.
Administration
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to head office.
- Conduct quarterly formal meetings with technicians.
- Provide monthly status reports covering service status, customer issues, supervisor issues, and other concerns.
Staff Recruitment, Welfare & Development
- Recruit (with prior approval), induct, train, and effectively manage service staff.
- Maintain high staff morale and ensure understanding of company objectives and policies.
Quality Assurance & Training
- Ensure high competence levels among staff through ongoing training and support.
- Develop good customer relationships and own service issues.
- Address customer complaints within 24 hours.
- Audit Service Supervisors monthly and Service Technicians bi-monthly.
Health & Safety
- Handle chemicals safely and ensure staff safety.
- Inspect service vehicles monthly for roadworthiness and safety.
- Promote good and safe working practices by example.
Other Duties
- Maintain good relations with the sales team, providing feedback and support to achieve sales targets.
- Continuously improve knowledge of pest management through study, membership, courses, and practical experience.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma in a related discipline with proven management experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage a team of 10 members.
- Positive, result-oriented, with good initiative and drive.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Willing to travel and obtain Goods Delivery License (GDL) if shortlisted.
- Valid driving license and own vehicle; Malaysian or relevant resident status.
Highly Desirable Skills
- Excellent planning, management, and supervisory skills.
- Ability to multitask and build rapport at all levels.
- Multilingual in English and Bahasa Malaysia with clear communication skills.
- Commercial acumen.
