About The Role

As the Service Engineer for Carrier, you’ll be covering the Johor region in servicing our clients. You will be supported by a team of technicians and you are required to champion the customer relationship and engagement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle after‑sales service market sales and achieve service sales targets set by the company for the southern region.
  • Attend technical meetings at the customer site and provide solutions.
  • Review the forecast spare parts for repair work with Service Manager.
  • Connect chillers to the Carrier Smart Service Platform, monitor chiller performance, and generate reports for customers.
  • Prepare technical reports, chiller startup reports, and monthly comprehensive chiller reports for customers.
  • Conduct chiller introduction and technical training for customers, contractors, and in‑house technicians.
  • Attend to customers’ complaints and provide prompt service to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the Service Manager in handling operation‑related matters.
  • Carry out EH&S responsibilities and job site inspection as required.
  • Maintain effective communications with customers and field team members to better understand support requirements.
  • Contact customers frequently requiring a high degree of tact and courtesy to maintain and build good rapport.
  • Develop diverse product knowledge and perform diagnostic procedures.
  • Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design/system related problems.

As a Minimum You Must Have
  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics or equivalent.
  • Min 3 years of experience in a service line.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Understanding of air conditioning within the HVAC field; preferably from a data centre background.
