About the role

As a Senior Tour Executive at CAPRI TRAVEL & TOURS SDN. BHD., you will be responsible for planning and organising bespoke travel itineraries for our diverse clientele. In this full‑time role based in Penang, you will work closely with our clients to understand their unique requirements and preferences, and then craft unforgettable travel experiences that exceed their expectations.

What you’ll be doing

• Consulting with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences
• Researching and selecting the most suitable destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities to create customised travel itineraries
• Negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive rates and packages
• Providing exceptional customer service throughout the booking process and during the client’s trip
• Staying up‑to‑date with industry trends, regulations, and changes to effectively advise clients
• Maintaining detailed records and ensuring accurate invoicing and reporting
• Mentoring and training more junior members of the tour planning team

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar tour planning or travel consultant role
• Extensive knowledge of global travel destinations, accommodations, and transportation options
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and suppliers
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities to manage multiple tasks and deliver high‑quality results
• Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software
