Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturer in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a qualified candidate to conduct laboratory testing and formulation for paint and coatings. Responsibilities include collaborating with customers to provide technical solutions, conducting formulation improvements, and developing training for sales personnel. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry or a related science discipline with 5 to 8 years of laboratory experience in the paint and coatings industry. This role requires communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years lab working experience in related industry is required.
• Technical experience in paint and coatings/inks/construction chemicals is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct paint and coating formulation and testing of resin products.
• Conduct lab testing and formula improvement for customers.
• Visit customers with the sales team to resolve issues.
• Develop successful relationships with sales partners.
• Implement highest standard of application lab management.
