Senior Technical Datacom Instructor / Trainer
Deliver advanced Datacom training programs for enterprise and service-provider level audiences.
Conduct training up to Advance Routing and Switching level or above, combining deep theory, real-world design, and hands-on labs.
Act as a senior subject-matter expert, trainer mentor, and contributor to curriculum excellence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced Datacom courses in classroom, virtual, or hybrid formats.
- Conduct end-to-end training on enterprise and WAN networking.
- Design, explain, and demonstrate complex architectures using diagrams, labs, and troubleshooting scenarios.
- Mentor junior trainers and provide technical guidance on delivery standards.
- Align course delivery with professional certification syllabi and real-world deployment practices.
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and advanced learner Q&A sessions.
Required Technical Competency
- Strong mastery of enterprise networking fundamentals and advanced concepts including:
- MPLS fundamentals and label switching
- L2VPN and L3VPN concepts
- VRF, MP-BGP, route targets, and VPN design principles
- SD-WAN
- Solid knowledge of advanced routing, switching, and WAN technologies.
Certification Requirements
- CCNP or equivalent (or higher) certification is highly preferred.
- Higher-level or specialist certifications are a strong advantage.
General Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related fields.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex networking topics without losing technical accuracy.
- Strong passion for teaching, mentoring, and technical excellence.
