Job summary

A leading crop nutrition company in Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Executive to manage procurement activities and ensure compliance with ISO standards. Responsibilities include liaising with suppliers, monitoring performance, and resolving supply chain issues. The candidate should have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, coupled with strong communication and analytical skills. Job description

Overview

Sales orders management and optimization by liaising with sales agent, customers, forwarding agents and transporters to ensure smooth operation process (from new customer creation and credit limit application) and delivery to customer. Ensure accurate order fulfillment, timely dispatch, and effective communication with customers. Resolve customer complaints related to supply chain issues in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement activities including various technical categories, raw materials, general items, packaging materials & etc
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and ensure compliance with Yara procurement's standard
• Monitor, consolidate and analyze supplier performance vs. contractual conditions to ensure and/or improve quality, services and efficiency through the development of appropriate measures
• Manage internal customer satisfaction and needs
• Assist in resolving vendor or contract grievances and claims against suppliers
• Managing incoming raw materials inventory by planning, arranging deliveries, import matters and liaising with the suppliers and forwarding agent
• Analyze and identify supply chain bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. production, sales, and finance) to align supply chain activities with company goals
• Support the audit activities required by internal/external auditor to ensure compliance
• Assist or backup in other operational activities for the company
• Perform and maintain the ISO9001 standards to the requirement. Support in maintaining ISO 45001 standard
• Prepare sales and month end closing reports
• Access SUN system for sales orders/invoicing process (O2C) and PO creation (P2P)
• To support back the office functions such as HR & Admin work related such as staff insurance matter, attendance record and tasks assigned

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Supply Chains, Logistics or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, import or/and export, customer services or logistics related industries or companies
• Excellent in customers service & communication, sales & deliveries coordination and reporting
• Reasonable ability to present ideas effectively, either orally or in writing. Meticulous in figures and reporting
• High ability to utilize personal computer programs and other supply chain related softwares
• Highly reliable and responsible to meet customers' demands and requirement. Possess sense of urgency
• Possess high standard of ethics and good awareness of safety
• Ability to initiate improvements in operations
• Must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Klang
• Trained in latest version of ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 standard requirements
