Job summary

A global technology company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to manage the supplier quality end-to-end process. You will perform quality audits, solve supplier quality issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, at least 5 years of experience in supplier quality management, and speaks both English and Chinese fluently. This role requires travel up to 30% in Asian countries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in supplier quality management.
• Familiarity with Electronics manufacturing processes such as PCBA.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.

Manage supplier quality end to end process including quality audits, quality planning, part qualification, problem solving and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform supplier evaluation and quality audits.
• Work with suppliers to develop robust process control plan.
• Solve supplier quality issues to avoid impact on Supply Chain and Product Quality.
• Set up quality targets and monitor supplier quality performance.
• Lead Supplier Quality Improvement Programs.
• Establish relationship with suppliers and drive continuous improvement.
• Initiate and follow-up on corrective actions and verify effectiveness on-site.
• Accomplish other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in supplier quality management.
• Be familiar with Electronics manufacturing processes such as PCBA.
• Be familiar with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.
• Excellent oral and written skills in both English and Chinese.
• Strong communication skills in a global company environment.
• Self-motivated.
• Able to travel 30% of the working time in Asian countries.
