A leading semiconductor company in Penang seeks a Supply Chain Planner to manage inventory, coordinate build plans, and optimize logistics. Responsibilities include preparing weekly plans based on customer orders and forecasts, conducting inventory reviews, and collaborating with R&D and production teams. The ideal candidate has a degree in Supply Chain Management or related fields, 2-3 years of planning experience, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in supply chain tools and Microsoft Office is required.

A. Build Plan Scheduling
1. Prepare and review weekly build plans based on planning forecasts and customer orders, factoring in capacity, loading matrix, and inventory checks.
2. Perform bin-level planning to match customer requirements with WIP and build plans.
3. Ensure capacity availability for product ramp-up, collaborate with Industrial Engineering on capacity aligned with product mix requirements.
4. Support engineering and customer sample builds.
B. Logistics Coordination
1. Coordinate new material setup upon notification from project leader.
2. Ensure timely and accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) creation.
C. Inventory Management
1. Conduct monthly inventory reviews.
2. Identify unhealthy inventory categories and define corrective actions.
3. Review fallout inventory and schedule production for retest.
4. For blocked & RMA stock due to quality issues, follow up with Quality and Engineering teams for disposition, if approved for retest, schedule rework PO to production.
D. Operational Issue Management
1. Monitor WIP movement and FG supply status with line steering to ensure reliable FG commitment.
2. Trigger early warnings to OM planners if FG supply is insufficient based on defined escalation level criteria, clarify urgent topics and provide prompt status updates.
3. Coordinate new product ramp-up activities, work closely with R&D, NPI, and Production teams to ensure reliable sample commitments.
4. Act as the primary contact for Launch Support Management (LSM) team.
