Job Description

As a Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer, the broad area of your job responsibilities will cover the following domains:

Technical Leadership & Architecture

Lead system design and architecture for cloud-based applications and platforms

Make key technical decisions related to system scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Define and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines

Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to engineers

Software Engineering

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs

Translate complex business requirements into clean and effective technical solutions

Collaborate on database design, performance optimization, and security considerations

Ensure high code quality, testability, and long-term maintainability

Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS

Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

Ensure system availability, observability, monitoring, and incident response

Work closely with founders, product stakeholders, and operations teams

Participate in technical planning, estimation, and roadmap discussions

Support and troubleshoot production systems when required

Drive continuous improvement across development and operational processes

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

Strong experience with AWS (e.g. EC2, RDS/DynamoDB, S3, IAM, VPC)

Experience designing, deploying, and operating production systems

Strong problem-solving skills and a high sense of ownership

Good communication and stakeholder management skills
