Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise software systems. This role plays a critical part in driving technology solutions aligned with business and digital transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with management, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. As a technical leader, you will contribute to strengthening software development lifecycle (SDLC) maturity, change management processes, and overall engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Technical Lead, guiding and contributing to the work of internal and external development teams.
• Design, develop, enhance, implement, and support software components across the full technology stack.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of the organisation’s application and service portfolio.
• Analyse and resolve complex technical issues by identifying root causes and delivering effective, sustainable solutions.
• Drive and support software change and release management processes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management to deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, establish best practices, and develop new technical and operational processes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and vendor solutions, and provide recommendations where applicable.
• Mentor and coach Software Engineers to support professional growth and knowledge development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Flutter, and relevant frameworks or systems including .NET Framework, AngularJS, and Git.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale information systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organisational, and time‑management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion, and independence in performing job responsibilities.
