A leading technology firm in Malaysia is hiring a Senior Service Engineer to support semiconductor customers. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience servicing K&S wire bonders. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of equipment. The position offers an attractive remuneration package and benefits, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
This is an excellent career opportunity for experienced engineers to support semiconductor customers in Malaysia. You'll be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and calibration of K&S wire bonding equipment, providing technical advice, and improving equipment performance.

Perform on-site servicing: Troubleshoot and repair K&S wire bonders, ensuring smooth operations.
Support installation: Execute installation, commissioning, and buy-off at customer sites, ensuring equipment meets customer requirements.
Execute major servicing: Perform overhauling, including bond head servicing, XY table inspection, and mechanical assemblies teardown & rebuild.
Perform calibration: Calibrate machines to meet customer process requirements, ensuring optimal performance.
Provide technical advice: Offer technical advice and service reports to customers and internal teams, enhancing equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
Diploma / Degree: In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
5 years of experience: Servicing K&S wire bonders. Your hands‑on experience will be crucial in providing excellent service to our clients.
Strong working knowledge: Of K&S wire bonding principles, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and motion systems. Your expertise will ensure equipment reliability and performance.
Independent problem-solver: Ability to perform overhauling, major service, and calibration independently. Your self-sufficiency will contribute to the smooth operation of our clients' equipment.
Experience with semiconductor customers: Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing customers. Your industry knowledge will help you understand the unique challenges and requirements of the semiconductor sector.
