Job summary

A leading automation firm based in Penang is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to execute sales initiatives and manage customer relationships. Candidates should have at least 3 years of sales experience in the automation field, preferably with knowledge of motion technologies. The role entails building a network of key industrial customers and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. Candidates must be self-motivated, possess their own transport, and be willing to travel. Multilingual proficiency in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of sales experience in automation field, preferably with motion knowledge.
• Proven ability to interact directly with a sales organization and understand customer needs.
• Required language(s): English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Identify key customers and build a network in Industrial Automation & Component fields.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update opportunities management.
• Develop new customer accounts through sales and marketing activities.
• Support marketing activities to enhance product presence and customer knowledge.
• Provide customer feedback to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
