Job summary

A leading automation solutions provider in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, seeks a qualified individual to engage with customers and provide technical solutions. You will build relationships, recommend products, prepare presentations, and work with CAD software to develop designs. The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering, at least three years of experience, and be proficient in software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD. This role requires excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel both locally and internationally.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with trilingual proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • First contact window for customer’s enquiry.
  • Build quality relationships with customers and identify potential clients.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Prepare and present technical explanations to customers.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Prepare quotations and close orders.
  • Recommend new products and explain advantages.
  • Prepare conceptual designs and CAD models.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the Management as required.

What You Will Do
  • First contact window for customer’s enquiry.
  • Build quality relationships with existing customers and establish new sales by identifying potential customers.
  • Understand customer’s needs/technical requirements and recommend products & services accordingly.
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers on how the products work.
  • Work with cross functional teams internally to ensure system/product meets the customer requirement.
  • Quotation preparation to customers and order closing.
  • Recommend new and improved products to customers and explain the advantages of product being offered.
  • Prepare conceptual design, 3D Model, 2D drawings by using 3D CAD software and other simulation tools.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned as when required by the Management.
What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications)
  • Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Draftsight or other CAD software.
