Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for construction projects
- Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible terms
- Monitoring project budgets and costs, identifying potential risks and opportunities for savings
- Providing regular reports on project financial performance to senior management
- Resolving contractual issues and disputes in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating with the project management team to ensure smooth project execution
- Mentoring and developing junior quantity surveying staff
Requirements / Qualifications
- 5+ years of post‑qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction industry
- Thorough understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project financial control
- Excellent negotiation and problem‑solving skills to handle complex contractual matters
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
- Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the project team
- A proactive, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven approach
- Knowledgeable in counting steel structure will be added value.
