Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for construction projects
• Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible terms
• Monitoring project budgets and costs, identifying potential risks and opportunities for savings
• Providing regular reports on project financial performance to senior management
• Resolving contractual issues and disputes in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborating with the project management team to ensure smooth project execution
• Mentoring and developing junior quantity surveying staff

Requirements / Qualifications

• 5+ years of post‑qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project financial control
• Excellent negotiation and problem‑solving skills to handle complex contractual matters
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and MS Office suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and the project team
• A proactive, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven approach
• Knowledgeable in counting steel structure will be added value.
