We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at MH Theme Design Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. In this full‑time position, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic and high‑quality quantity surveying services to support our construction projects.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects
• Conducting site measurements and quantity take‑offs to ensure accurate cost projections
• Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to optimise costs
• Monitoring project budgets and providing regular financial reporting to key stakeholders
• Advising on contractual issues and dispute resolution to protect the company’s interests
• Collaborating with the project management team to ensure successful project delivery
• Mentoring and supervising junior quantity surveyors to develop their skills and expertise

What we’re looking for

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Chartered membership of a professional body, such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
• Minimum 8 years of post‑qualification experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contract management, and cost control methodologies
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software, such as Candy, CostX, or ProcoreAbility to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team
• Proactive and solution‑oriented approach to problem‑solving
