About the role

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Purchasing Executive to join the growing team at SKINLAB BIOCHEM RESOURCES (M) SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time role will play a key part in overseeing the procurement and inventory management functions for the company.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to placing and tracking orders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
• Analyse purchase requisitions, forecast demand, and identify opportunities to optimise inventory levels.
• Implement and oversee inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise wastage.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align purchasing activities with production and operational needs.
• Report on purchasing and inventory performance metrics to support data-driven decision making.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, supplier developments, and industry best practices.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement or supply chain role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven track record of securing favourable contract terms.
