This role includes managing a project team, ensuring safety compliance, and preparing necessary reports. Knowledge of local languages, especially Chinese, is preferred.

Job description

PIPECARE is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager.

The general role of the PM includes managing PIPECARE's operational projects at the corporate office and subsidiaries. These projects involve resource mobilization to Oil & Gas fields, servicing pipelines, conducting field surveys and verifications, equipment demobilization, and reporting. The candidate will lead a project team, overseeing the production, execution, and control of the project budget.

Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities:

• Prepare, sign, and submit pigging reports, daily reports, and other relevant documentation to the Project Manager.
• Discuss equipment and tools requirements, including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool boxes, and all other necessary tools for field use.
• Report non-compliances, near-misses, and safety concerns.
• Attend safety, technical, and professional development courses/trainings.
• Study and analyze project documents, operation manuals, pigging procedures, and related materials.
• Establish professional relations with client’s field personnel.
• Manage and develop the team to execute fieldwork safely, effectively, and efficiently, adhering to time, resource, and financial plans.
• Authorize stopping work at the site if unsafe conditions are identified.
• Coordinate field activities among LIN SCAN team, subcontractors, clients, and other parties.
• Visit client sites for kick-off meetings, surveys, risk assessments, etc.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by POM and/or the Executive Team.

Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) with at least 5 years of operation planning experience.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Preference for candidates who speak Chinese.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk, climb, and maneuver within industrial environments.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to focus and multitask.
• Wearing safety equipment as required.
• Sufficient mobility and reflexes for office duties and travel.
