Job description

Reporting to: Senior Manager- Engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project Planning: Update and manage schedules of assigned projects with accurate data for manager to compile and have time factory capacity utilization.

2. Resource Management: To lead and motivate teams from all departments involved in a project to meet delivery timeline, optimize cost efficiency and meet customer specifications. Manage all change orders or deviations expected/ unexpected.

3. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays. This includes conducting risk assessments and implementing contingency plans.

4. Communication: Feedback on workflow issues to manager in order to enhance efficiency and productivity. Provide improvement reports to compile and review.

5. Quality Assurance: Monitoring project activities to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. This may involve conducting inspections, tests, and audits to verify compliance with requirements.

6. Documentation: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including technical drawings, reports, change orders, and correspondence. This is essential for tracking project progress, documenting decisions, and ensuring accountability.

REQUIREMENT:

1. Education: Possess a degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronic/ Electrical Engineering or a related field to demonstrate a strong foundation in engineering knowledge and practices.

2. Experience: At least 5 years of project management experience, ideally in the automation manufacturing sector.

3. Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent writing and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.

4. Personality: Strong work ethic, positive attitude & drive to succeed as part of a high functioning team.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, managing multiple priorities, both independently and with a team.

6. Willingness to travel extensively. Oversee projects in international or cross-border settings.
