The Job

Responsible for leading and managing the company’s purchasing activities, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, products, and services at the best value.

This role oversees supplier management, negotiations, cost control, and procurement strategies to support operational and project requirements.

Responsibility
  • Review purchase requisitions (PRQ) and oversee the issuance and approval of Purchase Orders (PO).
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure materials are delivered on time.
  • Monitor lead times, delivery schedules, and order fulfilment to avoid project delays.
  • Develop good relationships with suppliers and negotiate for the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Track supplier performance using key KPIs such as quality, delivery accuracy, cost, and compliance.
  • Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to support company operations and projects.
  • Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of quotations, contracts, price lists, and supplier documents.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies to reduce cost and add value.
  • Prepare simple reports on purchasing status, delivery progress, and any issues that need action.
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems for better efficiency.
Requirements
  • Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Senior Executive: 3–5 years experience in procurement.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supply chain management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, purchasing systems, and ERP software (advantage).
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
