Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering studies, design, and offer technical support for daily plant operations.
• Prioritize safe and efficient operations with a focus on flawless execution.
• Investigate and troubleshoot plant issues, devising cost-effective solutions.
• Generate and implement engineering proposals from innovative ideas.
• Optimize plant efficiency amidst changing crude supply and product demand.
• Regularly monitor and assess plant performance for sustained high efficiency.
• Contribute to plant turnaround activities, offering technical support during startup/shutdown and catalyst regeneration.
• Engage in task force/committee activities and network with peers.
• Stay updated on the latest technology for application in project design and problem-solving.
• Develop and establish procedures for equipment startup/shutdown and catalyst regeneration and oversee these tasks when assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is a minimum requirement.
• Preferably to have 3-4years of experience in Petroleum refinery plant.
• Demonstrates initiative, strong interpersonal skills, industriousness, and effective communication proficiency.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
