A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Production Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in a relevant discipline and at least 3 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include scheduling work orders, managing master scheduling, and liaising with cross-functional teams. Plan and schedule Work Orders (WO) to achieve optimal On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance.
Develop and manage monthly Master Scheduling (MPS) and execute forward planning up to six months ahead.
Ensure production loading plans are met and implement remedial actions for bottlenecks or capacity constraints.
Release Work Orders timely with complete documentation and actively expedite WOs to meet demand dates.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve WO execution issues across the manufacturing process.
Liaise closely with Buyers, MPS, and cross-functional teams on material delays impacting delivery commitments.
Generate and analyze key D-Center performance reports to support departmental and company KPIs.
Support company policies, EHS requirements, goals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Exercise Stop Work Authority when ESH risks are identified and support investigation and corrective actions.

Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations.
Strong working knowledge of production planning, MRP systems, and related applications.
Proficiency in computer systems and data analysis to support planning decisions.
Good communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across departments.
Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards and quality system requirements.
Knowledge or practical exposure to Kanban, JIT, or Lean manufacturing concepts.
Experience supporting KPI-driven environments with a focus on delivery and execution excellence.
