Overview

We represent our client which is in the F&B industry based in Ipoh, Perak. They are one of the leading pastries and bakeries in Perak, currently with 14 bakery outlets in Perak, along with 2 hyped and buzzing pastries cafés in Selangor.

Job Responsibilities
  • Uphold top-tier quality and consistency across all pastry and bakery products.
  • Innovate and refine recipes, ensuring an authentic yet contemporary product offering.
  • Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards in taste, texture, and presentation. Manage inventory of baking ingredients to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior bakers, cultivating a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with product development and management teams to launch new and seasonal creations in line with market trends.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and professional workspace.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant pastry or bakery experience.
  • A culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts, bakery, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, or R&D Chef, specializing in bakery innovations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire a team.
