Job Description

Role Summary

As a Senior On-Site Application Engineer, you will support Flowserve's Lifecycle Advantage (LCA) contracts at one or more of our clients' locations in Qatar. These tasks may include ensuring performance at the site, supporting the results of the Balance Scorecard and monitoring and executing the daily requirements of the site operations as defined in the contract. The purpose of this role is to translate the objectives of Flowserve and the client into a sustainable long-term contractual relationship focused on improving the performance of a customer's assets.

Your role

• Lead the design and implementation of sealing solutions to meet customer needs and improve seal life.
• Act as the primary source of information regarding the design, application, installation, and operation of mechanical seals.
• Support the MOC (Management of Change) process with all required documentation.
• Carry out reliability walkabouts and generate reports accordingly.
• Perform mechanical seal failure analysis and produce reports accordingly.
• Troubleshoot pump and seal systems operating in Customer sites.

Your profile

• BSME degree or equivalent
• 8 years relevant industry experience as an Applications Engineer and/or Project Manager with an industrial rotating equipment manufacturer
• On-site experience required, preferably in oil and gas/petrochemical plants
• High standard of written and spoken English
• Strong PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Hands‑on experience in inspecting pumps / seals / troubleshooting
