Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage and enhance enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) ensuring high availability and security. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, configuring network devices, and ensuring compliance with operational processes. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in network operations and strong skills in routing, switching, and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Enterprise Network Operations & Support.
• 5+ years in Cisco and/or Huawei routing & switching.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco) for 3–5+ years.

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage, support, and enhance enterprise network infrastructure across the organization. This role acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network operations, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and SLA compliance while working closely with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Network Infrastructure, providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers
• Manage day-to-day enterprise network operations (BAU) including incident resolution and troubleshooting
• Configure, manage, and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring systems
• Add, maintain, and decommission network devices as required
• Monitor network health, availability, and performance proactively
• Manage configuration files, backups, version control, and recovery
• Perform network troubleshooting across multi-vendor environments
• Plan and execute patching, firmware upgrades, rollouts, and releases
• Conduct capacity planning, performance testing, stress testing, and growth analysis
• Maintain accurate network inventories, topology diagrams, and technical documentation
• Work with vendors, telcos, and service providers to meet SLAs and resolve issues
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercises
• Ensure compliance with operational processes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Identify risks, emerging threats, and recommend mitigation strategies
