A leading technology company in Penang is seeking a Senior Manager for Operations Planning & Controlling. This role involves driving planning, forecasting, and capacity commitment processes across a global supply chain, emphasizing subcontractor collaboration. The ideal candidate should possess strong change management and organizational skills, with preferred knowledge in semiconductor supply chains. Responsibilities include engaging subcontractors, managing demand plans, and optimizing planning processes. This position is crucial for implementing strategic plans effectively.

Senior Manager Operations Planning & Controlling

Drive and manage the planning, forecasting and capacity commitment processes across Infineon’s global supply chain with a focus on subcontractor collaboration and demand planning.

Responsibilities
  • Engage major/subcontractors for forecasting, demand commitment, securing capacity and material liability.
  • Define and cascade planning deliverables to globally located subcontractors to meet customer demand.
  • Drive commitment of customer demand in alignment with Business Divisions Supply Chain Product Line Managers.
  • Enable new subcontractor sites according to IFX supply chain process and requirements.
  • Implement approved strategic plan in alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Accurately update capacity commitment to customer demand plan in the next 26 weeks.
  • Drive demand split between subcontractors considering contractual agreement and supplier relationship.
  • Manage SiFO demand plan and align with FE OPC for subcontractors with bump/sort content in OSAT subcontractors.
  • Manage material liability at subcontractors affecting segment cost position.
  • Optimize planning process in collaboration with BE OPC and subcontractors.
  • Undertake cross‑functional projects to meet Plan‑to‑Make vision/targets.
  • Drive integration projects via Merger & Acquisition requirements.
  • Consolidate multiple databases and collaborate to streamline reporting for management review.
