Job description
Senior Manager – Operations / Director of Operations

As PICCA Convention Centre continues to expand, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager – Operations OR Director of Operations to strengthen our service quality and lead our growing team to greater excellence.

Main Responsibilities
  • Service Excellence & Guest Experience: Ensure the highest standard of service is consistently delivered across all departments, especially banquet and event operations. Implement and uphold SOPs across operations to meet PICCA’s “Our Hospitality” standards. Monitor guest feedback and drive continuous improvements to enhance client satisfaction. Lead, train, and motivate the banquet and operations teams to perform at elite level. Identify and groom high‑potential team members into future leaders. Conduct regular training, briefing, and coaching sessions focused on skills, service mindset, and discipline.
  • Operational Planning & Execution: Oversee all event and banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution from setup to closing. Coordinate with Sales, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Technical teams for event readiness. Develop manpower plans and duty rosters based on forecasted events. Ensure optimum use of resources, minimize wastage, and drive productivity across teams.
  • Safety, Compliance & Facility Management: Uphold safety standards for both guests and staff, ensuring emergency protocols are in place. Maintain upkeep of event spaces, banquet inventory, and equipment readiness. Submit regular reports on service performance, event execution, and team productivity. Contribute to operational strategy, innovation, and service development to grow PICCA’s brand positioning.
