The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen brand positioning, increase audience or customer engagement, and support organizational growth. This role leads the marketing team, oversees campaigns, and ensures alignment between marketing strategies and business objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals
- Define short-term and long-term marketing objectives, KPIs, and budgets
- Conduct market research, audience analysis, and competitor benchmarking
Brand & Communications
- Lead brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity consistency
- Oversee all marketing communications including digital, print, media, and events
- Ensure brand values and tone are consistently represented across all platforms
Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns
- Drive audience growth, engagement, and retention through targeted initiatives
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on data insights
Digital & Media Marketing
- Oversee digital marketing strategies including social media, content, SEO, email, and paid media
- Manage media partnerships, promotions, and publicity opportunities
- Ensure effective use of digital tools and analytics
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team
- Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews
- Foster collaboration with internal departments and external partners
Stakeholder & Budget Management
- Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective spending
- Engage with agencies, vendors, and strategic partners
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 7–10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills
- Proven experience in campaign planning, brand management, and digital marketing
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies
