Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end interior design process for multiple projects, including concept development, space planning, design execution, and project delivery.
• Oversee and mentor a team of interior designers and junior staff, ensuring high-quality output and professional development.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and external consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Manage client presentations, design reviews, and approvals, maintaining strong and productive relationships.
• Review and approve all design documentation including mood boards, material boards, CAD drawings, 3D renders, and FF&E selections.
• Stay current on global design trends, materials, technologies, and sustainability practices to inform innovative solutions.
• Oversee budget and timeline adherence across design phases and actively resolve project challenges.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of delivering high-end interior design projects across commercial, hospitality, or residential sectors.
• Proficient in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools such as Lumion or V-Ray.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and client management capabilities.
• Ability to lead design charrettes, workshops, and presentations with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to design quality and innovation.
• Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ, LEED AP) is a plus.
• Experience with sustainable and wellness-oriented design strategies.
