Job description

This role provides crucial administrative and operational back-office support to the restaurant operations, handling and bridging shared functions with corporate/HQ for supply chain management, IT, marketing, HR, and financial processes.

The role co-partners with Operations GMs, to ensure the efficiency and transformation of restaurant operations and is ultimately responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, performance, and customer experience and ensuring sustainable growth across all stores.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong analytical and commercial acumen, and the ability to implement structured processes, optimize inventory, control cost of sales, and support digital transformation initiatives or new systems to improve operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead data-driven commercial planning by building and owning end-to-end revenue, margin, pricing, and demand forecasting models to support growth and profitability targets.
  • Develop and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly commercial plans, including sales forecasts, budget inputs, and performance tracking across categories, channels, regions, and customer segments.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to identify growth opportunities through advanced analytics such as marketing mix modeling, attribution, uplift analysis, and ROI measurement.
  • Deliver actionable, decision-ready insights and recommendations on pricing, promotions, assortment, product launches, and channel mix to senior leadership.
  • Analyze store-level financial and operational performance to identify revenue, cost, and efficiency improvement opportunities, supported by clear action plans and KPIs.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and self-serve analytics tools covering commercial, marketing, and operations metrics, enabling timely and informed decision-making across functions.
  • Support operations transformation initiatives by quantifying ROI, tracking post-implementation results, and working with Operations, Training, and Restaurant Technology teams.
  • Act as the business data steward by defining data ownership, governance standards, hierarchies, and data quality frameworks across commercial and operational domains.
  • Enable data democratization while maintaining governance by building scalable, automated analytics solutions and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability of data.
  • Collaborate with Group Data and Technology teams to establish a unified, future-ready data ecosystem with automated data pipelines, quality controls, and real-time performance visibility.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or advanced certification (MBA, MS in Analytics/Data Science) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles, supporting commercial planning, business planning, marketing analytics, trade marketing, or sales strategy with P&L exposure.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial planning processes.
  • Prior experience in FMCG, retail, consumer goods, QSR, or F&B industries is highly advantageous.
  • At least 1 year of people leadership experience; exposure to large, multi-outlet or multi-site operations is desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools, with hands-on experience in SQL, Python or Time-series forecasting, price elasticity modeling, optimization techniques, portfolio optimization, and scenario planning
  • Marketing mix modeling, attribution analysis, and lift measurement across channels and formats
  • Model evaluation, validation, monitoring, and generalizability
  • Experiment design (A/B/n testing), uplift modeling, propensity scoring, and causal inference
  • Familiarity with digital, media, and e-commerce go-to-market metrics is a plus
  • Working knowledge of data governance concepts, including data lineage, master data management (MDM), metadata management, and data quality frameworks (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK).
  • Exposure to data warehousing and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including modern data lakehouse architectures.
