Analyst / Senior Analyst (Business Valuation)
Market participant and client analysis
- Analyse high volume of transactional data to identify trading trends, product adoption and engagement patterns across asset classes.
- Segment investors by activity level and market contribution to support targeted commercial and market development strategies.
- Develop dashboards and analytics frameworks to monitor trading behavior, market share shifts, and client lifecycle value.
Predictive and forecast modelling
- Build statistical / machine learning models to forecast trading activity and cross‑selling opportunities across Exchange’s products (including equities, derivatives, gold, bonds). Expert in time series modelling and unsupervised learning will be preferable.
- Identify leading indicators of product adoption and participation growth using behavioural, transaction and macro‑level data.
- Setup model / data drift alert for model performance to ensure reliability and predictive accuracy.
Commercial and strategic insight generation
- Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations to guide marketing strategy and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Support marketing teams in identifying under‑penetrated segments and recommending tailored outreach strategies or tailored marketing initiatives.
- Provide data‑driven inputs for management decision‑making, including business reviews, strategy planning and marketing initiatives.
Stakeholder collaboration
- Partner with other stakeholders to align analytics outcomes with the divisional strategic goals.
- Work closely with external data partners and research vendors to enrich the understanding of market behavior and investment flows.
- Present analytical findings to senior leadership and contribute to cross‑divisional initiatives to enhance market vibrancy.
Data integration and governance
- Collaborate with market data, IT and market operation teams to consolidate internal datasets.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity and compliance of data in alignment with governance standards.
- Contribute to the design of a centralized client analytics platform that support ongoing commercial monitoring and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Applied Statistics, Finance, Economics, or any other related fields.
- Minimum 7 years in a managerial position and experience in predictive and forecast modelling.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modelling tools (Python, R, SQL) and visualisation platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Quicksight).
- Strong understanding of market structure, trading systems, and financial products (equities, ETFs, derivatives, bonds).
- Demonstrated ability to translate analytical outcomes into strategic business actions.
