Hong Heng Group of Companies is a trusted name in Malaysia’s transportation and logistics industry. We are looking for a highly motivated and experiencedSenior Logistics Executive who is proactive in driving improvements, capable of developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and committed to building a more structured and systematic logistics operation. This role is ideal for someone who is not only experienced in logistics but also passionate about making processes better, more efficient, and more consistent.

What you’ll be doing

Coordinate and monitor daily delivery operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery based on customer requirements.

Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure clear delivery instructions and service satisfaction.

Track shipment movements using logistics software and update delivery records accordingly.

Support in planning routes, assigning vehicles, and scheduling deliveries to maximise efficiency.

Handle logistics-related documentation and ensure accurate data entry into internal systems.

Assist in managing vehicle-related matters such as road tax, insurance renewals, PUSPAKOM inspections, and traffic summons follow-ups.

Monitor and arrange basic vehicle maintenance schedules to prevent delivery disruptions.

Work closely with internal departments (e.g. admin, sales, supply chain) to support smooth logistics workflow.

Respond to operational issues such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, or driver absences and report to supervisor when needed.

Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies during logistics operations.

Assist in preparing simple logistics reports and updates for internal use.

What we’re looking for

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory, experience in logistics or transportation industry preferred.

Proficient in logistics/ERP software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.

Strong organizational, leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Results-driven, proactive, and analytical with focus on continuous improvement.
