Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a proactive Legal & Compliance Executive to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support legal and compliance matters, assist in drafting contracts, and manage the Group’s IP portfolio. With responsibilities including legal research and coordination with external counsel, we welcome applicants with 1–5 years of experience or strong internships. Senior / Junior Legal & Compliance Executive (WFH)

Our client is looking for a proactive and driven Legal & Compliance Executive to join our expanding Legal and Compliance team. Reporting directly to the Group Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting both legal and compliance matters across cross-border operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with commercial awareness, strong drafting skills, and a keen interest in compliance to grow in a fast-paced, international business environment.

Responsibilities
  • Contract Drafting & Review: Draft, review, and manage various commercial and legal documents including SaaS, Service Level Agreements, NDAs, Referral Agreements, and other business-related contracts
  • Legal & Compliance Support: Assist in day-to-day legal and compliance matters, ensuring the company operates within applicable laws and internal policies
  • Intellectual Property & Trademark Support: Support the management of the Group’s IP portfolio, including trademarks and enforcement strategies
  • Overseas Expansion: Support the legal aspects of the Group’s expansion into international markets including company incorporation, regulatory requirements, and cross-border agreements
  • Coordination with External Counsel: Coordinate and participate in virtual calls with external legal advisors (locally and internationally), ensuring timely communication and follow-up on legal tasks and advice
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and stay up to date with applicable laws and regulations affecting the company’s operations and industry developments
Requirements
  • Experience: 1–5 years of post-graduate legal experience preferred. Fresh graduates with strong internship experience are welcome to apply. Exposure to international legal systems is an added advantage
  • Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university. Completion of CLP, BPTC or equivalent is an advantage
  • Legal Drafting: Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear, concise, and commercially sound legal documents
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Independent & Organized: Able to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize work in a remote and fast-paced setting
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using cloud-based tools and virtual communication platforms for collaboration and documentation
