Job summary

A subsidiary of a global manufacturer is seeking an IT professional in Johor to provide troubleshooting support, manage network infrastructure, and execute IT projects. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Information Technology and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience. Knowledge of end-user hardware and IoT integration is essential. This role will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring system availability in a modern manufacturing environment.

Job description

Provide troubleshooting support for end-user hardware, system operation issues, and prepare, update, and maintain IT SOP documentation.

Manage, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure to ensure stable performance and availability.

Execute Group-level information security policies and ensure compliance with internal IT security standards.

Plan, coordinate, and execute IT-related projects in alignment with business and operational requirements.

Manage and maintain telecommunication systems, ensuring service reliability and performance optimization.

Maintain data center / server room hardware, monitor system health, and ensure high system availability.

Configure, maintain, and support meeting room and conferencing systems to ensure smooth operation.

Work closely with cross‑functional departments to support business operations and IT initiatives.

Job Requirements

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Studies, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in IT infrastructure, systems, or support roles.

Strong execution capability with the ability to plan and manage IT tasks and projects independently.

Willingness to learn, continuously improve technical skills, and adapt to new technologies.

Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.

Willingness to provide after-hours support for urgent system or equipment issues when required (low frequency).

Solid knowledge of end-user hardware, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Hands‑on experience in network troubleshooting and basic network architecture.

Knowledge of internal corporate systems and operating system troubleshooting.

Knowledge of meeting and conferencing system architecture, configuration, and system log checking.

Familiar with manufacturing factory operations, with hands‑on experience in MES system development and maintenance.

Minimum 3 years of experience in both front‑end and back‑end system development.

Minimum 3 years of experience in IoT device data integration and system development.
